The paper work I signed for my drug test said I could have a retest if I could provide a hair sample in the same condition as the first hair sample implying they could tell if I had stripped?
I read an article about a cop who failed a hair test for cocaine the article said he stripped his hair for the retest and passed but was still fired.(could they tell)I only asummed they were talking about people who bleached their hair and then dyed it maybe they were saying they could somehow clean the dye off and tell .But then again a lot of people bleach and dye on and have never had a problem that I have read.Maybe its just a bunch of BS sales hype or maybe its an extra process they go through for a retest though I have a very hard time beliving they could tell if one used the mac or zydot? Until people start failing as a result of I wouldn't pay to much thought

How can you tell, by looking at it? By feeling it? Yes it changes texture but both are subjective. That is like saying a urine sample that is yellow is not dilute or a sample that is clear is dilute. Color doesn't matter as long as you pass validity testing. When they say hair washing ratio or staining I for one would like to know what this means. Is this a form of validity testing or are they full of shit. You have to prove something scientifically not just because it looks damaged just like with color and urine.


Additional, I was on the psychemedics web site last week and they are making claims that their procedure is better than other labs. I hope when people post in the results thread that they are stating the testing company whenever possible to help track psychemedics and their "superior" lab testing. This company is evil I tell you. I would rather test for other labs but that really isn't left up to the donor most of the time.

When you see some frizzy headed ho you know that their hair is damaged. It don't take a friggin' rocket scientist to figure it out.
No it's not. Damaged piss has nothing to do with damaged hair for Christ's sake.
Call them up and ask. Like I said before, I don't see the big deal. They can see all the "intent" that they want to. It's not against the law to bleach and/or dye your hair.
Stop being a chemist for a second. You are making a mountain out of a mole hill. Again....for the 4th time (I think) it's not against the law to dye and bleach your hair and again. I don't see what the big deal is all about.
Of course they are Boobs....It's called advertising. Quest does the same thing. Chevy does it, Ford does it, etc...etc.
You know as well as I do that it doesn't matter which company does the test. They all have to meet government guidelines. They all advertise they can't be beat. They all advertise they are the best, etc., etc....blah, blah, blah........

I have stated my opinion 2 or 3 times now in this thread and it's going no where. You keep bringing up the same issue (hair damage) and I keep giving the same reply ( big fucking deal). Sorry old pal, but in my opinion it's wasting space and my time because again, I don't see the big deal. It's not against the law to dump shit on your head and trying to prove you bleached your hair to beat a drug test is impossible.

Wow this thread got flamed quick, so anybody have any thoughts on Nioxin and should I Straighten or Bleach/Redye my hair?? I should have the pdt-90 results by Friday...and I also have any appt with a psychiatrist on tues. to see if I can get a REAL prescription for stimulants that MAY show up on a hair test.

Me and old man 1toke aren't flaming each other because we are little internet buddies. We are normally in complete agreement but we have a different viewpoint on this case.

Where on the website did you find that tid bit. I plan on calling them tomorrow as well as Quest.

I think it doesn't matter who is testing you. I still think you will pass.

Negative for all drugs tested on PDT90, should I still bleach and redye my hair? I read that the PDT90 is less sensitive than the real hair test and passing it is not a guarantee you will pass a real one, also like I mentioned before my test is with Quest not Psychemedics, do they differ in cutoffs?

I think you are good to go. You might continue with the Nioxin, and use Zydot the day of the test just to be sure.

This sucks....so I might still fail i don't know if I am being paranoid, I read here that some guy passed the PDT90 and FAILED on the real test. Is there still THC in my fat that could still grow out in the next 3 weeks. HELP! Passing this damn home test just makes me even more worried.
