I am sitting here looking at a box of zydot shampoo had a box of root clean zydot says to be only used on test day root clean says it purifies for 8 hours only. I understand why because your blood stream starts redepositing after 8 hours.I was thinking that possibly the detox companies were implying that THC migrated throughout the hair shaft as opposed the to staying in one spot on the hair shaft.I common question I have seen on this site. Otherwise it would take several days for the new deposits to grow up from the scalp for a positive test. Anyone else have an opinion on this??

No I don't think this is what it means at all. Hair is dead cells so there is no blood supply in the hair shaft itself. The THC can't move through the hair because there is no way it can move. Zydot never says to stop smoking so I always took it that 8 hours later enough hair could have moved past the scalp where it could be cut. That would be a distance of something 0.005 inches but they are probably just being safe. The hair can't get Zydot shampoo while beneath the scalp so after you wash it then it can grow up past the scalp enough to be cut not THC moves through the hair.
