420advice?

Alright you all have got to be sick of this, but I have a few questions.

I've read through several dozen pages and got some information, but I'd like some advice if possible.

I have a hair test coming up for a job. I've been clean for 4 weeks now. Before that I was a daily hydro smoker (a small bowel each night). I've already picked up some zydot and a few other things. I did my first mac treatment tonight and will have Aloe Rid by tomorrow (which I'll use daily until the test). I have about 2 weeks until the test.
Any advice on what I should do from here other than as many mac treatments as possible? I've seen the posts about bleach and dye, but would like to avoid it unless you guys thinks it's needed.
My hair is about 2 inchs long, should I trim this back or would the mac treatments and zydot be enough?

This whole process is crazy, I've never been so freaked out over a test before.... some advice might calm me down.

The MacCujo/Zydot/AloeRid is good. You don't need to cut your hair but if you do stay as close to 1.5 as you can.
I agree with you on the bleach/dye. It reportedly helps but I am not into it.

hey your situation sounds a lot like the one i was in.
i had about 58 days clean before my test, it was supposed to only be 6 weeks but i pushed it back.

i passed with using zydot and mac the night before, and aloe/PM3 daily. i also went tanning because of the uv rays screw up your hair, and im not gonna lie, i like to tan. i did plan on bleaching my hair, but never got around to it.

stick with the zydot/pm3/maccujo method. if ur real nervous bleach and dye just incase, it wont hurt.

Thanks guys, Your advice has me a bit more at ease.
I've been able to push the test back another week so I should have 41-49 days under my belt before the big day (I'm trying to take another week of "vacation" which is why the number is a variable).
I've done a couple Mac treatments so far and have an Aloe Rid deep treatment soaking now on top of the daily Aloe Rid shampoo. I'm getting clipped this week to bring my hair as close to 1-1 1/2" as possible. I figure the less hair I have the better (hopefully I'll still have some left after all this). I've already shaved everything else just in case they go looking for more.

One more question:
Has anyone heard of stuff by A & B Detox? I picked it up before reading most of the information on here. The instructions recommend using it on the day of the test, but I'm concerned it might mess with the Zydot and from what I've read here that's what I should trust. It wasn't cheap, but I'd rather go with what works...

Ok, tomorrow is my exam day. I have 45 or so days clean.
Over the past 3 weeks I've done 4 or 5 mac treatments (usually half an hour for each step) 5 or 6 Aloe Rid deep treatments (I've left the Aloe rid in overnight a few times) and used Aloe Rid shampoo daily. Since I had a few weeks I tried to space them out to prevent my head from hurting too much (the aloe treatment doesn't sting much at all).
I cut my hair pretty short, I'd guess about 1 to 1 1/2 inches at the longest part (on top). I'm hoping they go for the sides which is about 3/4" or less which "should" be clean growth. I shaved everything else a few weeks ago so not much to worry about there.
I did another mac and Aloe and shampoo tonight and I'm sleeping with the Aloe treatment in again. I'll do another mac/aloe treatment in the morning along with Zydot.

The collection went well. They cut from the back and little from the top.
The lady did ask to see my pits first since my hair was so short, but they were still almost smooth. I've got a few near bald spots on my head now, but they only got 1/2" to 3/4" worth of hair length so I really don't care.
I should be eating chicken soon (I hope)

The company is trying to speed things along so I know I'll hear as quickly as possible. I'm guessing maybe by Monday.
I'll make sure to post my results either way.

With the length of the sample and your clean time you should be getting a chicken dinner. I would suggest that you don't smoke until you get your results just incase the lab says the sample is insufficient, they lose the sample in shipping, the lab screws up, etc.
Hopefully you will be fine, but shit has and does happen. Good luck.

Darn it...

I'm still staying clean just in case. I can't wait to celebrate!
