hey all- what i thought was going to be a pre-employment urine test is really going to be a hair test. i will have not been smoking for around three weeks but previous had burned 3-10 bong hits daily for many years. probably around 10 years of smoking high potency kryps. does this "afterburner" stuff actually work?
the job pays big $$$ so the expense will be worth it. i read ziggys post but its "spam" quality seemed to be in question. (no offence ziggy if authenticated)
please any advice helpful. i do not want to shave my body, no amount of money is worth that.i have a job so it wont be the end of the world, but this potential job is great!
most of the hair post are older; are there any new products or methods of passing out there?

My friend used permenant hair dye and she had smoked the day before she dyed her hair. she passed it ok. i dont know if it was luck or the dye, but it could be worth a shot. you dont have to dye it a crazy color, you canactually get the same color dye as your hair right now. I'd just make sure it was permenant. depending on how long your hair is, it should be out of your hair in a couple of weeks.

thanks for posting so fast! was your friend a chronic, chronic smoker or just a casual user? i read a post about a "perm" any thoughts on this method other than how gay i would look?

howdy- even though there was a lackluster response to my query i purchased the "afterburner" product anyway. i should be testing next week some time. perhaps the week after. i will post my results. i must say i am not too hopeful as common knowledge points towards failure, but i am a gamer and will go down fighting. the company swears if i follow directions to the letter i will pass.

I had an interview this past Thursday. I was told that they would let me know in a week whether or not I got the job. I was already told there would be a hair test if accepted and was given the release form for it. I'd been smoking at least a joint-a-day during the week, lot more on weekends, for several months. Then I stopped three weeks ago but broke down when someone offered me a skinny roach Wednesday, the day before the interview. I had never heard of this "afterburner" you mentioned. Can you tell me where to check it out? P.S. I can scan the release form for all to see if it is okay with the Moderator. ?? YERBA!!

Shave your hair and tell them you swim. It might not REALLY convince them, but they have NO legal argument. Offer a urine test if they are sceptical. (Unless you are emotionally attached to hair, I have shaved my head, and uhh... whole body a few times).

There is not a law forbidding hairlessness yet.

You might be right about the legal part but if I were to shave my head, eyebrows, nut-hairs, butt-hairs, ect.. soon after the guy went through his speech about how the test could detect up to nine years back and asked me if I had a problem with it and I told him no, they would probably come up with some other reason why they wouldn't hire me. They might even hire me and give me a random testing in order to "catch" me. On the other hand, having never shaved anything more than my facial hair I guess I just might be too afraid of the change. Thanks for the input tho'.

i am also going to get a perm as well you might try that, no real scientific data supports this but a perm will effect the inner hair to some degree as well as bleaching. it wont totally eliminate thc but will decrease its concentration 20% or so.
