ok here's the dilleyo my friend smoked with me last friday and now he's got to have a blood sample taken because he's ill, it's not cuz their sucspicious. he smoked some hash and took about 5 hits will it show up?

Will it show up... probally, Will they be testing for drugs... probally not. If hes going in for blood work because hes sick i seriously doubt they'll test for drugs, and if they do i doubt they'll do anything about it... Hospitals have better things to do than harass pot heads. Do you know what illness he has?

I only thought marijuana stayed in the blood for a few hours after use.. Like 8 hours or something, right?

there is no way that weed goes away after eight hours. It is in your system for at least 28 days no matter what. The bad thing is that none of the tricks for urine testing (water, various supplements, bleach etc. ) dont work for blood tests. If you have a blood test done and youre dirty, nothing you do will change the outcome


But hey, drink Cocoa, if it doesnt do anything for ya at least it tastes damn good

Your information is incorrect.

Marijuana is detectable in the body for awhile after smoking, but you cannot put a number on it and expect your data to be correct.

I don't know how long it would show on a blood test, but I think that I have read it is just for a few days at most.

A urinalysis can possibly detect marijuana for a month, but there are things that you have to take into consideration prior to you saying 28 days. How much you smoke, metabolism, habits, fluid intake and other things effect how long it would be detectable.

There are additives that you can put in your urine that will change the outcome, many of them will cause you to be flaged because of the additive. I have also been told that some additives are effective, but I would never trust them.

I hate to say this dude, but youre information is completely wrong. There is absolutley no way weed is detectable for only a few days with a blood test. THC stays in the bloodstream for a month because it is stored in fat cells and they are constantly being released into the blood. And 28 days is pretty much the bare minimum for people with fast metabolisms. There are a few who get by under that, but to be safe always expect the worst.

Just as a side note, if you are taking a blood or urine test (i think this works for blood, im not entirely sure) take four aspirin two hours before the test.
