Hey all,
I am in desperate need to pass a hair follicle test within a week (I believe) I am a moderate smoker, which means 1-3 times a week for the last 7 months, before which I quit for 2 months, before which I smoked daily for 2 years. I have long dark brown curly hair that I refuse to sacrifice for the sake of employment. Perming isn't an option because I am somewhat vain and don't want to destroy hair that I love. I am very active and athletic, with a fast metabolisim. Does that matter at all? I refuse to cut my hair, so that sucks in my favor as well. What are my options? Maybe I will slide under the tolerance levels? Is that even possible? Any constructive advice is greatly appreciated. I also have a mother that has cancer who I take care of. Is it possible to use the reasoning that I am exposed to second hand smoke through her legal use? Especially with my minimal amounts of dosages? If I do test positive is it possible that they can share my results with other future employers? The company I am being tested by has six other associate dealers in the area (they are automobile repair shops) that I am interviewing with as well. Is it legal for them to share that information? Thanks so much for considering my dilemma.

well, my friend, she had to take a hair test (shes 24 and has shoulder length brown hair) anyways, she got some permanent hair dye and died her hair the same color that it was before (no color change at all) shes a heavy smoker. she goes through ounces in 1 week easy. and she past fine. so i dont know if it was pure luck or the permanent hair dye.

well I would try the hair color a good friends wife did that also brown in color and she passed, as for me a 45 year old male that smokes daily I tried every magic potion/shampo treatment out there even did a perm the nite before did the test twice and failed, by the way anyone out there know if legal for you to have to submit too a drug test because your wanting to buy a franchise
