I bleached and redyed my hair last week on thursday. Apparently every time I take a shower a small bits of my hair color comes out, I am hoping this is just excess dye that I had used when I dyed my hair.

My question is, has anyone here on this website, ever had their hair color come out when using the zydot shampoo after bleaching and redying their hair?

You are okay.

I bet the dye was not left in long enough. I have been advised to always use one shade darker than your normal color. For me this works because my armpits are sampled. I fully understand how hard it is for some people to do their head hair. I suspect that in some cases Zydot might strip more color.

Another bleach and dye can only help your chances of passing...

Ok, I will bleach and re dye on saturday, (do my armpits as well) then I am thinking of using zydot for my test on wednesday, am I safe to assume hair color won't be stripped? I am afraid, the lab nurse will see some discoloration and will get suspicious.

Use Zydot the day of the test for sure.

Minor color difference should be no biggie...

They are not paid to be suspicious, they collect samples...

It isn't against the law to bleach and dye your hair. I am sure they see some weird colors.

Smokesilly did you use permenant hair color or temporary hair color?

If you are going to bleach, permanent dye would probably be the best option...

I bleached and redyed my hair again today. It is permanent color. I have some bad news tho.

The zydot I bought on ebay over a week ago still hasn't shipped, and I don't assume it will make it here on time for my test date. I bought another zydot from another seller, and got overnight shipping, but I can't be gauranteed that I will receive that either.

My local head shops only carry 2 brands of shampoos. One is called "Stinger" and the other is made by "Urine Luck". I will go out to purchase these the night before, if I don't get my zydot in time. Have any of you guys, or anyone else heard of the quality of these shampoos? Any opinions will be greatly appreciated.

I've only heard good things about zydot- the stinger and urine luck, i dunno never heard of them.

Seems with bleaching and redying and using zydot you should be alright
