so I should use the Zydot stage 2 purifier after each bleach and redye then follow that with toxin wash and full Zydot on the day of the test?

the beauty salon lady I talked to today said that bleaching twice would make my hair fall out. maybe she is thinking something stronger than the one you mentioned so I will ask her tomorrow. did your hair fall out?

do you think a hair stripper would be better or stick with the bleach? I work in an office so I cannot be bald : ( they would notice.

do you use the conditioner that comes with the bleach kit at the beauty supply store? the beauty supply lady said I would have to use the bleach, apply the conditioner that comes with it, then redye. just making sure that would be okay before I use the Zydot purifier.

My hair gal does not use a conditioner.

Here's the sequence--

1--Bleach for 30 minutes with 30 strength peroxide.
2--Was out peroxide with TW or Zydot purifier.
3--Dye(10 strength peroxide mixed with color), rinse out dye excess dye with TW or Zydot purifier.

I'd be afraid the conditioner is a neutralizer(which might close the cuticle), save that for after the test.

Can you be more specific about what kind you used? Beauty supply people told me that if you don't use that conditioner the hair would fall out. I do appreciate all of your responses. I am just trying to make sure I am getting the right steps to win this fight

I have my son through Sunday. When I get the chance I'll go by the beauty supply store and get you the exact products I used.

My gal told me that too much bleaching would cause my hair to break off. I told her that was none of her concern as long as I kept primary custody of my kid.

You do what you need to do.

I plan on doing the first treatment on Sunday or Halloween followed by one on November 11th. I figure if it don't match perfect, I could be like "My Dracula costume fucked up my hair". Test is on either the 13th or 14th. They have too many people to test to let us know which day. I guess I will prepare for each.

Do you think it would be okay to use the Zydot conditioner after the purifer between the bleach and redye?

Oh and did your hair break off?

No, no breakage.(you have not read my story, my work was all done on my arm pits, so I could have cared less)

I would only use the purifier after the bleach and after the dye. The purifier is what contains propylene glycol.

how long before my test should I do the last bleach and dye treatment? I know my scalp will be kicking. they wouldn't notice that.
