Do the THC metabolites stored in fat cells that are burned into the bloodstream grow into hair? Or is it just the few days where THC is detectable in blood that THC grows into hair?

For example, if I smoke pot every day and pot is continually in my bloodstream, and then I quit and after a few days pot isn't detectable in my bloodstream, will any more THC grow into the hair shaft? Or do I have to wait for all the fat cells that have THC stored to be burned before nothing else is released into my hair?

I'm trying to figure out when to get a hair cut.

From what I understand, when there is THC in your blood it is going 'into' your hair. Your blood shouldn't be dirty for longer than 3 days if your a heavy smoker.

My understanding is that the thc metabolites will enter your hair strands via the bloodstream for 10 days after your last smoke.

For example, smoke kind bud all day on day one and shave all hair off of your body.

Day eleven or beyond, as long as a sufficient amount of hair can be collected, that hair should be clean.

Cool, thanks guys. I should be in good shape then. I haven't smoked for over 40 days and just got my hair cut to about a 1/2 inch on top. From the point where it is now it should remain clean.

My only problem is if they go for another area of hair. I don't have a hair test scheduled, rather I have a urinalysis, but I wanted to cover all my bases JUST IN CASE. I still may shave my body hair down less than a half inch just to be safe. Thankfully it all grows back out....because I'll look like...well...I won't look good...lol.
