Hi. I am new to this site & so glad I stayed up all night trying to find something like this! I am going to be taking a hair test in 2 weeks. I have been smoking for many years; though I have abstained for the past 3 weeks. Prior to that i was smoking 1/8 a week of chronic for a month or so.
I am a female with long dark hair, so bleaching is something that I would like to avoid if possible.
I MUST pass this test (single mom - need the job). I need some good advice PLEASE.

If you can spare an hour or so, I'd suggest reading the entire "Post your results here" thread. Use the search function for unfamiliar terms.

You're like me, a dark haired regular smoker, and we have the hardest chances of passing the test. You can try the MacCujo method. But from what I've read, if this job is really important to you, your best bet is bleaching and redying, rinsing both out with Toxin Wash. Other than that, a haircut to get rid of your older heavily saturated hair, clarifying shampoo, and a last day kit like Zydot all help. Also, don't forget that they can sample your body hair, so it should either come off, or be cleaned.
