Ok, so I was feeling confident about my test, and the closer the date gets, the less confident I become. I'm scheduled for a hair test on the 19th....

I have been using PM3 and both the Aloe rid shampoo and treatment. I am planning to MAC nightly the week before the test. Zydot day of. Again, my history (at the time of testing) will be 50 days clean. I smoked high grade at the end of sept, 4-5 hits. Probably 1-2 more sessions in Sept, and 6+hits weekly all through the summer.

My question is this.... should I bleach and redye? I keep going through the results thread and it seems 50/50. Like everyone else, I just want to pass this and move on with my life. I'm sick to death of worrying about it. Plus I want to smoke a bowl for f*&%s sake. This board is very helpful, but discouraging when I see people with a history like mine FAIL.

Ok, so if you are okay with the bleach/dye method then do it in my opinion. It will strip the hair better than anything. The Zydot is good to use the day of the test. You might want to get some Toxin Wash to use before the Zydot because it is a clarifying shampoo like the PM3 but on steroids. Zydot says to use a clarifying shampoo before using its product. Search for it online. And use the baking soda paste before the TW. And, PM3 is good for cleaning, but it is basically a rough shampoo for chlorine and dirt, not THC. Propylene Glycol is what you want in the shampoo, its in Neutrogena T-Gel and Aloe Treat. Use the Aloe Rid Treatment a lot during the bleach/dye, and then baking soda, TW, and then Zydot. If you've done a bunch of the Mac methods before then you probably don't need to do them after the bleach/dye. And try to double bleach the hair if you can take it. I did. Bleach, wash out with aloe rid, bleach, wash out with aloe rid, but leave it in for a bit after too, and then redye. Good Luck and I hope I helped.

After reading almost all of this thread, it seems that the bleach/redye has the highest success rate. I'm hesitant to do that though, especially since I'm an occasional smoker. I'm really just looking to see what you all think if I just did the mac and zydot, along with PM3 and aloe rid. My test is the 19th. Its for a large hospital, and I'm wondering if they might have a "zero tolerance" policy.... meaning there is no cutoff, the results have to be ZERO...

You are borderline for bleach and redye. You could probably pass using a combination of other treatments. But, a bleach and redye would give you an almost certain pass.

Ok, so if I bleach and redye, should I even bother with the MAC?

Alright..... should I bleach/redye just a few days before the test? I want to make sure I do the proper steps.....

Bleach/aloe rid tx/redye, zydot day of. How about conditioning treatments? Should I avoid this until after the test? My hair will probobly only tolerate 1 bleach/redye.....
