Question regarding hair sampling

I understand there are several locations that the sample folks will go to if your hair is short. I plan on shaving now and letting it grow back in for the month before the test. But I was wondering, do they ever go for your arms? I don't mind shaving my underarms and legs, but my arms... people see those. Anywhere else they might go for?

PS - anyone interested in following my progress, I did my first bleach and redye monday. The bleach went fine and the dye burnt ridiculously. We also didn't get the color quite right, so I've been walking around with a wool hat. Luckily it's cold in Cleveland.

You could Nair your arms so you have some hair, but not enough to sample...

I haven't heard anyone going for the legs. Wouldn't a trim down to 3/8 all over be enough to stop them?

I'm a little unclear here on the whole sampling process. If your hair is thin, due to nair, couldn't they just shave a wider swath of hair? I figured the hair doesn't need to be close together.
