thick black hair

I have thick black hair, i stopped smoking 4 months ago and I failed a hair test. How long do you guys think it'll be before my hair will test clean? Does being around herb smoke in the air screw the results?

It all depends on how fast your hair grows. IF you can grow your hair at least 1-1/2 inches in 3 months, you should be fine (as long as you have not smoked any pot in that 3 months). I would guess that any day now you should be able to pass the test.
