| The bleach in the Tide will not likely "change" your hair. I suppose it might lighten it a touch, if you left it on for a really long time, but nothing to the effect of what you are looking to do. The purpose of bleaching with salon strength bleach is to actually damage the hair enough to where the metobolites can escape the hair shaft. Redying not only replaces your color, but further damages the hair shaft. The big result we all like to see is lower, if any traceable metabolites..... however, everyone has different factors that come into play. Example, darker skinned individuals with thicker hair shafts may be harder to penetrate/damage, which results in the unfortunate higher failure rate among these folks..... |
