I have a question as to why some companies do urine and hair testing? Why would they do a urine test when they could just do the hair test which is more accurate? It seems it is a waste of money to do 2 tests? What do you you guys think?

BTW I had to take a hair test for a really great paying position yesterday. Had to take a urine test as well. Did the macujo method 2x the night before and day of, also used aloe rid shampoo and treatment both times as well in addition to using it around 4x over the past month. I have medium/long length light brown hair. Quit smoking 40 days prior. Will post the results.

I have been washing w/ Aloe Rid for last 5 days, Mac'n for last 3-2x a day. Plan on using Clear Choice day of test. I have had 2 hair cuts in the 54 days clean(I keep my hair around an inch). I was wondering if there is anything else I can do to better my chances.

well it takes 5-10 days to even show up in your hair. and maybe they evaluate the pee first so they dont have to go and spend the extra money on the hair test.

i joined up here solely for getting more info on getting my hair clean.i gotta say it sounds like the maccujo method when done properly definately does work most of the time. i've been clean about 12 days and will be using the maccujo method 2-3 times a day until friday (i plan on 4-5 treatments on thursday and twice on friday) hopefully this works combined with the zydot shampoo. i'll gladly post my results. this is for my freedom ya'll so i definately have my fingers crossed. wish me luck and i hope to post the good news asap.

There's been some articles posted from medical journals indicating that bleached hair has resulted in lower amounts of the impurities they are testing for....if this is "for your freedom," you may want to take that additional step.

im definately considering it, maybe the day before (thanksgiving!) my coworkers would FREAK!!! but i'm going to be doing the macujo method several times daily (im going to see if i can stand 3 runs tonight) + a double or maybe even triple dose of zydot treatment the day of. i have a PO so i don't want it to be too obvious i dyed my hair. i only used heavily for a couple weeks (long story short, i was dumb, i should've just had my 1 day of fun like normal but didnt and got a UA that i was totally not expecting) i also got the shampoo from passyourdrugtestdotcom but i don't know that it will do much of anything (but i got it so i might as well use it right?) i'll let everyone know, the hair test im taking will not be for the state, my lawyer suggested taking one with my own $$$ first to make sure i'll be clean before we take it to the state. i'll definately be using a psychemedics lab (concentra) gimme a little prayer everyone and good or bad i'll let you know what happns.
