I'm a long time smoker (15 years.) When not abstaining, I smoke two or three doobies a night after work. I'm tall and slender with a high metabolism and grow hair quickly. I just cut a few inches off my head, so I have about 2" inches on top and 1/2" on the sides and back. I also clipped my body hair short to promote new growth without looking recently shaved in two weeks when I take my test. I will also wax my chest and belly. When I take my hair folicle test, I will have been clean for at least 33 days (hopefully more.) I'm planning on bleaching and redying my hair soon and using the macujo method also. I'm hoping to get some advise as far as how many times I should perform each of these procedures and how I should prepare, not knowing which day my new boss will send me for the test. Also, should I consider using Zydot or some other product? Like I said, I don't know what day the test will be, but I know I'll be going to the onsite clinic while on the clock. Any help will definately be appreciated. I'll most certainly post follow ups and share my experiences in the forum to help others in the future. Thanks in advance!

I think 3 bleach and redyes washed out with Toxin Wash, followed by TW and Zydot on the day of the test is better than any amount of Mac treatments.

The results for this program are well over 80% successful.

The thing is, I won't know what day I will be taking the test until it's time to go to the clinic.

With your clean time, the last bleach and redye could be a week before the test. Once it's clean, it should be clean for good. The Zydot is for extra insurance.

Okay so I'm doin everything I've posted above and gettin ready to do my third and final bleach/redye followed by a Toxin Wash rinse. I just recieved my TW and the instructions include pretreatment with dishsoap, baking soda and distilled water as well as warming head with blow dryer. Is all that necesary? Or should i just use the TW to clean hair like regular shampoo after my final bleach/redye?

I'm so happy. I love my new job! They took two inches from the top of my head. I think the lab they used was called Quantum or something like that.
I had 42 days clean time after years of heavy use. I went all out. Bleach and redye three times, Macujo 6 times, Toxin Wash 6 times (4ml bottle goes a long way with short hair), and Zydot a week before testing. I made sure my head had enough hair (about two and a half inches) so they didn't even look at my body hair. I hope others will benifit from my experience here and I wish you all the best of luck.
