I know there are posts about this already, just wanted to get some advice on my story. I may have to take a hair follicle test soon for a custody issue. Here's my info:

female 5'5" heavy build, slow metabolism
daily smoker of cheap stuff, 1 bowl or less per day
last smoke was 3 weeks ago
Chin length brown hair, regularly died darker

My hair was permed like 5 weeks ago, over hair color done 7 weeks ago. Last smoke again, was like 3 weeks ago. I have smoked for a long time, pretty much daily, but not the good stuff, and only like a bowl or less per day (small bowl)

Since finding out about the possible test, I have done the macujo method 3-4 times (apple cider vin, clean and clear pink, tide, then follow up with T-sal 3% salysic acid shampoo. ) Couldnt find the Nexxus Aloe Rid yet or PM3 shampoos. Will look today. Also washed my hair with Biowash from head shop after the first Macujo treatment. Last night, I bought a perm relaxer treatment and re-straightened my hair, since the macujo screwed up my perm. I am considering possibly getting a pretty short hair cut, as I may have a month or more to let it grow back out and get another trim. I bought a bleaching kit but hesistating for now because my hair is so dry from being overprocessed the last 2 months.

This is VERY important to me. If I test positive, custody could be changed! I am so nervous and feeling sick inside. Why did I feel it was ok to smoke to go to sleep??? I feel horrible now! I could never explain this!

What do ya'll think my chances are of passing? What should I do to increase my chances? Should I buy a mail-in test to see if I pass that one?? Are those as accurate as say a court ordered test?

I am so lost!

ok anyone out there? I am hoping I am ok to take the test. Not sure when it will be yet. I called my lawyer and told her I'm ready. I cant do ONE MORE THING to my poor hair, for fear it will just fall out. My scalp is so red and sore, even warm water hurts. GOOOOOOD for the love of my kids.

So far I have done (in this order)

chemically relaxed hair 2 days ago w/straightening kit
bleached hair
biowashed after bleach
used PM Tea Tree impurity remover shampoo after biowash
bleached hair second time
biowashed
PM tea tree after that
dyed hair darker blond color. still had lightening in it, but not as harsh as the maxi bleach kit
bio washed and PM Tea Tree again
Dyed hair back to brown w/non amonia formula cause my scalp was bright red. even the non amonia formula stung like freaking HELL

Should I still use the T-Sal shampoo until I find out when I take the test, or is that a mute point? Anything else relatively unpainful I can do to be sure I pass? I may have to dye my hair brown again before this is all over, the color didnt take to well after I bleached it. So many chemicals, I wonder how I still have any hair left.

I BETTER freaking pass after all this

So whats the verdict Jerry or others? Will I pass?

Is there anything else YOU would do to be 100% sure? Or do you think I've done enough already? I cant lose my kids over this thanks for the reply though

Use Zydot the day of the test.

If you have time, you could go to a lab and get a test done. The results are private.

Is Biowash ok or should I pay for the Zydot? At this point, I'm willing to do whatever it freakin takes - I've already cut my beautiful hair really damn short. My lawyer told me to. There is well over 2 inches, prolly 3.5 or so on top that they can sample from. I made sure to leave enough that is wasnt suspicious. I dont have body hair they can take cause im a girl. i regularly shave everything anyway, even pubes, cause i dont like to be hairy. if they ask for pubes i'll tell them to suck it anyway, thats an intrusion!

I called all the local testing places and they said they wont test you unless u have an order from your physician or an employer that has an account set up? i thought i could just go myself and pay for it?

What are the ingredients in Biowash?

I just walked into the collection center, paid a hundred bucks, and took the test. Three days later I had the results.

Not sure about the ingrediants of the Biowash. I bought it at a local head shop, the lady said its her most selling one. I also have PM Tea Tree shampoo and the 3% Tsal on hand too. The Tea Tree stuff is supposed to remove toxins from your hair. Would you suggest maybe washing my hair with the baking soda paste then the bio wash the day of the test?

I finally found a place to take the test that allows tests for personal use, results in 3-5 days she said. Costs 85.00 and I can call in for the results myself. I am going first thing monday morning. I will post my results for everyone.

You don't have a list of ingredients on the label or the box?

What I know is that shampoos or treatments with propylene glycol reduce thc metabolites.

Like I've said dozens of times, baking soda paste is a basic, which opens the cuticle. The time to use it is before you shampoo.
