I dont know if this is where im supposed to post this but i smoked 6 days ago very small amount mixed with hookah tabaco and need to give a stool sample at work, will it show up in my stool?

I don't believe THC can be detected in your stool. I may be wrong here.

Even if THC does show up in your stool, you would know if they are testing for THC up front. If they don't tell you, then they aren't testing for THC.

I have never heard of an employer testing stool for anything. Even the insurance companies don't test stool pre-policy.

Are you sure this is for the employer and not for some medical procedure you are having done?

I thought I read earlier that you were in a foreign country and you needed to dip a stick-like thing in your stool and bring it back to the employer; above is your other post (tanked for being a cross post). What type of work are you doing?

This is extremely unusual for an employer, at least, as I said, I have never heard of it for any reason.

My wife explained to me what it was, here in this country if you work with any kind of food you have to have your stool tested periodicaly to check for certain bacterias or parasites, that was the reason, i guess sometimes food gets infected and they send out these little viles to check if any employee was the cause of the bacteria and or parasite present in the product. And the kind of work i do is in the fish buisness.

THC can be detected in stool samples but they rarely if ever use this for adults. It is most often used to test for drugs in newborns when the mothers are suspected of using drugs. Do you know how hard it is to get a newborn to pee in a cup? However, since all they do is eat, sleep, and shit this is much easier. I think they usually test their first poop anyway though, that was just my bad potty humor! I'm sure Sec is happy to know that testing adult feces for drugs isn't a common place thing. Most people should have a regular movement everyday but could you imagine having to hold that for a job? Some people aren't regular and don't have a movement every day so could you imagine the waiting rooms to the collection sites?

A stool guaiac test is much more common though as it is testing for the presence of blood in the stool which could be a sign of intestinal disease from cancer to a bleeding ulcer.
