First off, I was looking at Erowid and it said for chronic users THC can stay in the blood for up to 2 weeks. I heard here that it's 72 hours max but my friend, who is taking the test, believes Erowid more than you guys. he has until next weekend(22nd?) and just wants to pass this for his life insurance. If you could give me links to that would help so my friend can look at the sources.

It's 3 days. What does it matter? There is nothing you can do to clean your blood (to my knowledge). If he's already stopped then there is nothing to worry about.

he just wants to know when he needs (or needed) to quit smoking, to my knowledge this test was a surprise and he didn't know about it. And it also matters because the information is different on another site, meaning one of them is wrong (or right, who knows).

Why doesn't he save himself a ton of worry and ask the insurance company what tests they will be running on his blood specimen? Chances are they aren't even running a THC test.
