Hi,

im currently a contractor in the IT field and the company im contracted to wants to heir me on as a fulltime employee.. well in order to do so i need to undergo a hair test. I stopped smoking on jan1st 2008, but ive taken a few puffs here and there since because i missed the taste and so on and so forth. i was a heavy user about 1/2oz of good quality nugget a week for about 6mos and i really need to beat this test.. the company doing the test is Quest Diagnostics.. Now i dont i have an exact date but it will be sometime after march 1st, 2008 i bought the shampoo "Clear Choice" made by heath tech but upon getting it it said it may not be 200% garente like the box said so i called to find out why and they said because 2 companies Quest diagnostics and one other had changed their cut off levels so the shampoo may not work. i have a kid due anyday now and i cant afford to fail this test its like my whole life hanging in the balance.. ive even gone as far as getting multiple hair cuts but keeping the hair at the required length for a substantial sample. the last time i smoked was about 2 weeks ago and it was only 2 hits of some mid grade crap but since jan 1st theres been maybe 5 or so hits all together... the THC-COOH is what im worried about because thats what has the lowest conformation cutoff... i need any advice from anyone who has used certain methods how they passed how many times they did it? is it permanent? how long did they do it before the test? how long do the affects last if i continue to abstain from use? im really scared here.. i dont want my little girl to suffer because daddy did something he felt in his heart wasn't illegal or criminal... but in the eyes of the employer makes me a "bad person" ive read alot of good things on here but id really like some personal in site on what to do in my particular situation. anything anyone can help me with i would appreciate with my all.. thank you to anyone who reads this and please respond i need help.. for my little girl's sake.

You have about 2 weeks. You can shampoo with crap until your scalp bleeds, but if you really want to pass the drug test, and want to give it your best shot, I would shampoo using the MAC method. I would also bleach, bleach and redye. Give it about 5-7 days, then bleach, bleach and redye again. It is going to cost you some money, but so will losing this job.

This would be your best bet at passing the test.

but wouldnt bleaching change the color of my hair? i think it would be obvious to my employer if i came in one day with bleached hair.. especially being i work in a very professional environment

She's talking about one treatment session.

I like two treatment sessions that include a bleach and a redye. I think the dying helps destroy metabolites as well. Have this done by a pro and no one will be the wiser. Wash the bleach and the dye out with a strong shampoo like Toxin Wash or Zydot's Purifier(stage two).

Do some research in the results section(the last year) and in my posts(from day one).

but i really do not want to go the route of bleaching and dying my hair too timely adn costly i already shelled out 165 for a shampoo that wont even work with the drug testing company's cutoff levels like i said in the original post ive been getting my hair cut regularly since jan 1st and ive smoked very little since a total of 5-6hits if that so the highly contaminated hair is gone plus im 6'2 135lbs with a very fast metabolism my urine is already clean.. i understand it stays in the hair longer but if i continue to get it cut then use the mac method as well as Nexus Aloe Rid shampoo i should be good right?

maybe 5 but all just one hit a piece cuz i knew the test was comming and the last single hit smoke was about 3weeks ago

and i read about this aloe rid shampoo thats suppose to remove toxins from the hair ive been using it for two days and i probably still have 2 weeks before the hair test.. so if i use this until the test in addition to the hair follicle shampoo and the MAC method i should be alright, correct?
