Thought they were from the same company but the Precision Cleanse is twice as expensive as the toxin wash.

looking for redemption on a failed test. must pass.

heavy smoker until a month ago and have taken couple of hits 3-4 in a day couple of times since then, last hits 2 days ago (thought test wouldn't be until Nov of 08). male 160lbs with light sandy blonde hair 1-2.5in but thick, high metabolism. been doing some mac's followed with pm3, and ART. have done some baking soda paste treatments and have been taking complete body cleasing kits from GNC for the last couple of weeks. got Just For Me no-lye relaxer (coarse) plan on using a couple of days before test?, test will be within the next couple of weeks and Zydot for day of. cant do bleach/redye cause I'm a contractor being picked up by parent company, so I must work with the same people most everyday. plus my hair has alot of natural variation in color cause I surf alot. would be difficult if not impossible to match back to original. real light on top with darker roots and side burns.

how many relaxers should I do? time btw each if multiple?

I know its alot of questions and I've been reading the posts for 8 or so months now. but just wanted some confirmation from the experts.

Same product...

The more you do the better. I think you should use a relaxer as many times as possible and then wash it out with TW each time.

Then do baking soda, TW, Zydot on the day of the test.

If you can, do a self test to see where you stand.

been through this before and ordered the PDT-90 off the internet. did the test and sent in. results came back negative ( think it went to Quest). then went to Tesi did the actual test, something happend to the first sample so they called me back in and took another, failed the second one ( think it went to psycemedics) interesting thing was the MRO was the same lady. granted i did smoke in between the first and second real test (wont do that again.) was like 4-5 days between tests so I thought the toxins may not reach the hair yet but still failed even with macs and zydot in btw, i do have a high metabolism, eat good and stay in good shape, hair grows quick. did not do the body cleasing like I am now nor did I have the ART at the time and am doing the BS paste more now as well not to mention the relaxer I plan on using. trying to be more aggresive this time.

how many relaxers should I shoot for and how much time in btw?

also have a question about a product I had around the house that is seemingly very similar to the discontinued ART.

Solarcaine - aloe extra gel

active ingred- lidocaine hydrochloride 0.5% (think it would make you fail in the caine dept.) cant have that

inactive ingreds - aloe barbadensis gel, water, propylene glycol, glycerin, triethanolamine, isopropyl alcohol (0.06%v/v), polysorbate80, carbomer, diazolidinyl urea, menthol, disodium EDTA, yellow 5 & blue 1.

ART has polysorbate60 not polysorbate80 and tetrasodium EDTA not disodium EDTA. but they look and feel very much the same plus the solarcaine is readily available in all stores for less then $5. what ya think?

I really don't know that much about relaxers, but the make more sense to me than the Mac. I would use the relaxer as much as possible.

That shampoo has many good ingredients.

To do a self test, go to a lab. PDT 90 seems to have a higher cutoff than industry standard, and they won't tell you what it is.
