Hey, All...I need help! I just got a job with a Great Employer, whom my boyfriend currently looks for, so i know for a fact that they use Psychemedics for follicle testing. I'd say that I'm probable about 1 - 2 weeks from having to have my hair snipped. 90 Day History: I smoked daily for for about 5-7 days a month ago. About a month before that I smoked for about 7-10 days, also daily. And in the month prior to that the same thing...daily for about 5-7 days. Obviously there's some risk to failing this test here...I've been reading about MacCujo and am more than willing to go forward this that plan. I also just purchased a 4 oz. bottle of Toxin Wash for the same cleansing process. Can you guys make some suggestions as to my plan of attack, please...what should i do...how much, how often...do I really have a lot to worry about??? HELP!!!

Pidge, chill out. The answers are all here. If it's that important to you an hour of your life scanning the results thread is nothing compared to what you have to lose. Anyway, you'll find lots of support if you show you're willing to do a little work on your own. Bottom line is that everyone's situation is unique (based on timelines, physiology, the phase of the moon, etc), and so there's no magic answer for any one person. Try and find some similar senarios and read a little about what works and what doesn't. There are no paid consultants here, but nobody wants you to fail either. As Jerry said, read and come prepared to ask some specific questions. -Mastese

Sorry. I'm just super stressed, as my father is a top manager at this corporation (36 year veteran) so I've got even more than just a job riding on this. It would not be good for the word to get out that the boss's daughter failed. I'm willing to read and have done a good deal of reading, but I'll continue. Thank you for your help.

I'm 5'3", about 150 with medium brown hair...normal metabolism and an active lifestyle. You don't think Mac would work with me at all or do you just think that bleach/redye would work better? I currently have highlighted hair. My natural hair is medium brown and I have blonde highlights that are already pretty brittle. I'm a bit worried that the bleach and redye would melt my hair, in fact, I'm pretty sure my hair wouldn't live through it. Also, my father who works at this major corporation knows I've got this coming up and would be a bit suspicious if I suddenly changed my hair. I did neglect to mention that I bought a bottle of Toxin Wash. I did some research and it looks like it's pretty good shit, if not the best on the market. Ideally, I'd like to use that with the MacCujo. Thoughts? Last edited by PidgeLovesChi : 02-23-2008 at 02:24 AM.

Look at the results, the Mac is hit or miss, it sounds like you have to pass... Bleaching and redying combined with TW and Zydot is just a much harsher treatment than the Mac. From a scientific level, the mac does not make sense to me...

Can I go for a professional bleach and redye, or do I have to go with the over-the-counter? I'm just wondering about bleach strength and whatnot. The thought of bleaching and redying makes me want to cry, but not as much as being excommunicated from my family.

Hey Jerry could use your advice! I am a 27 yr old female recently found out i am being hair tested. In the last 90 days i have probably smoked at the most 4 times (a few bowl hits each time). I have recently colored my hair (which is naturally dirty blond and thin strands) and have not smoked since the end of Jan. I need to get tested this coming week. What do you think is my best plan of action? I plan on washing my hair twice a day with the nexxus stuff and on the day of the test to use zydot. Any info is greatly appreciated!!
