I am currently following previous advice from others and trying to do a search on the forum about drug testing with the swabs. Would anyone here happen to know valuable information regarding salavia drug test? I looking for cut-off limits, time of detection, does it test for parent drug or metabolites, does the swab get sent to the labs if result is negative, or anything else that may be relevant.

I may have a small chance to have my regular observed drug testing switched from urine to swabs due to an EXTREME medical condition of shy bladder. I even take medications to try to help with my "issue" but it has some embarrassing side effects. I'm NOT one of them cases that claim shy bladder to overcome a test, but I have a legent medical record of having severe problems. I've have been randomly tested for 4 months now with NO positive results, but it has not been without MAJOR embarrassment and LONG hours of waiting with a FULLLLL bladder in MISERY. I know as sure as the sun will rise tomorrow that I have been negative before each test without a worry, but the problem is being observed. I only wish I could do as others and just go fill the cup and be gone in a matter of minutes. I am not 100% sure if my request of the switch would be granted but I'm hoping that for my sake it could be...therefore I am planning ahead and finding out my options of which would be better. Does anyone ever heard of someone being able to have their test switched due to the extreme medical condition of shy bladder?

I am no expert, but it seems that since hair testing is far more expensive than urine testing, perhaps they would be more likely to use swabs. Regardless of whichever they decide to do, all of the answers to how to pass, and general detection times, are on this forum. Research, research, research. Also, sounds like you have to test for something other than a perspective job, and (just my opinion) I would just stop smoking til you are done with it. To me the paranoya isn't worth the high. Again, just my opinion.
