I havent smoked in hella months, and i took like 2 hits on feb. 12th and it showed up in a blood test i took. They are making me take another test on march 20th, and if i have weed in my system, i can lose my medical insurance. I took 3 hits off a joint on feb. 18th..am i good?

i've read it stays in blood for up to 72 hours, and then i have read it can stay up to 30 days, which scares the shit outta me.

im sure a million people have asked questions like this, so i really appreciate answers, im just freaked cuz i cant lose this insurance.

I just need to ease my mind. im getting noided lol.

Yes, the answer is max 72 hours, but as with anything, can vary depending on various biological/genetic factors. To be safe, keep yourself clean until the test this next month. It would be silly to tempt fate by continuing to smoke right now with something that important on the line. Don't you agree?

i smoked the day before the test..i know stupid rite?
but didn't know they were gonna take blood at my appointment so i figured i was cool..

i totally agree, im not gonna smoke anymore, i pretty much quit, just took a couple hits for fun..which has me all freaked out now..what factors? i'd like to know.. and does drinking water and cranberry juice help at all??

We all process things (especially chemical metabolites) differently based on (predominantly) metabolism as well as other things like percentage of body fat (since THC is stored there). But don't freak out, the variance is measured in a matter of hours, not necessarily days. In extreme cases, I would imagine perhaps up to a 24 hour differential.

It would also go to assume that it would be dependant on the amount of Marijuana consumed durring that particular session. Anyway, not the least to sweat about in your situation. I just didn't want you thinking along the lines of "Well, the test is on Friday, so I should be good to smoke up until Tuesday"...because that would be just plain rediculous.

Good luck with staying on the right path, and take your next test knowing you already passed.

Yes you will be fine for a urine. A two uses spread out wont say in your system for 30 days unless you are very very fat and have a very very slow metobolism and have very very little exercise. It normally takes 30 days for a normal person who has been smoking multiple times a week for a while to be clean for a urine test. You can actually test yourself a few days if you are worried. They sell urine drug tests at almost all Wall-greens, CVS, and places of that nature.

I definately support the home testing as well, just for confidense sake and contingency planning. I bought two kits and tested myself with the first one right away. I failed, did research, preparred and a week later retested with a pass...of course then I found out it would be a hair test and everything changed....still passed in the end mind you.
