Hello,

After reading the forum, I have noticed there is very little information about short hair and what to do when the hair test is coming up. My test is schedulded for March 7. I do not know how ever if this is a urine test or a hair test. So i figured i better prepare for the worst after hearing so many ppl on this site going in for a urinal and coming out with a hair test.

The last time i smoked was Jan 25, probbably 3-4 zigzag joints between 2 ppl. Before this during Jan 10-Jan 15 I smoked a quarter oz. Other then that I had managed to stay clean since September 1 2007.

In the middle of February I shaved my head to 1/8", right now its at a 1/4 maybe 1/2 if im lucky. I understand this is to little for testing. Therefor I decided to trim my legs because treating the legs seemed very unconvient.

Would doing the mac, followed by PM3 and Neutogena T-Gel twice daily on my arms and armpits be enough safety precaution? I dont want to shave any more hair as to not look as im trying to screw them over.

I live in Canada and cannot find a store that mails Zydot internationlly. Havnt been able to find it here either.

Armpit hair grows at a slower rate than head hair so in theory they can test back up to a year by taking hair from your armpit.

"11. Does body hair give the same type of results as head hair?
Yes, body hair can be used to test for the five standard drug classes, though body hair growth patterns are different than head hair. Most body hair is replaced within approximately one year. This means a test done with body hair will be reported as drug usage during approximately a one year timeframe."

They haven't told you what kind of test it is, why don't you just shave off your armpit hair? How can they claim that you did it on purpose if you were not told that it was a hair test?

Anyway it's hard to say if a Mac treatment would work based on your history. (Over 1/4 oz in a month, that's what about 15-20 zig-zags?)

The Mac treatment seems to be more effective for people who are light users.

If you don't want to shave your armpits, suggest using Jerry G's bleach and re-dye method or the baking soda paste method. The bleach and re-dye method seems to be the most effective. You should beable to buy the kits at you pharmacy/Walmart and do the treatment yourself. The PM3 and Neutogena T-Gel will probably help, but it is likely that you would have to do a little more than that to remove the metabolites.

Bleach and re-dye and then bleach and re-dye, with one kit you could probably do your armpits numerous times.

I see I am in a similar position to methanol. Just I smoked less towards the end. Im considering the bleach and re-dye method. The bleaching is not a problem. What I am worried about is redying armpits/arms. What if the dye gets on the skin and leaves marks? Id be scrubbing away like crazy to try n get rid of them. Also would it be safe to use 40 bleach on arm hair/armpit hair? As most of it will infact be on the skin not on the hair itself.

I have never done it myself so I am not sure how the bleach would affect the skin in the armpits. I wouldn't think that it would be any different than the scalp though, but like I said, I'm not sure. One person who would probably beable to answer that would be an esthetician (they bleach body hair). Just phone one I'm sure they would tell you. The dye shouldn't be a major problem though, a bit of scrubbing should remove it from the skin (it does whenever I've used it on my scalp area in the past).

No problems whatsoever with Mac method, bleach/redye, or perm of pit hair. I can tell you that due to all the treatments (no doubt), I lost somewhere between 30%-40% of my pit hair over the durration leading up until the test. It was kind of funny though, because even though the guy at the testing center said he would probably take pit and chest hair, he only took chest hair.

Anyway, read my story. Short/No-Hair guys have a much more difficult time (I think), because you have to treat everything else or be able to target-trim areas in order to dictate where they take sampling from.
