Just found out I'll be hair tested sometime in the "near" future, perhaps as early as next week, but could be more than two weeks away. But the test is definitely coming down the line. My eyes are tired from reading posts in this great forum, but I have some questions regarding which method to be used in my particular situation.

5-8, 160 lbs, salt & pepper hair. Smoked about 3 grams during the weekend of 2/14. Before that I had not smoked in over a year, and have not smoked since the weekend of 2/14.

My hair is approx 4 inches long, and know that it is clean with the exception of whatever grrew new 7-14 days after my last use. So, cutting it down to 1.5 inches would not result in any benefit to me. I am aware of the "3 session/90 day" rule, and I appear to be just on the cusp of that. I really want to ensure a "clean" test result.

I am aware of the different methods here. Jerry G's seems like the best, but it appears a little over the top for my situation, and besides, the bleaching and re-dyeing will not go over too good with me or wife (unless, of course, I have no choice). The Macujo method is a consideration, but should I or can I do that on a daily workday basis? Or perhaps the baking soda paste, vinegar with one of the cleasing shampoos?

I know that I have very little usage, but it is still a big concern and worry for me since I stand to lose so much.

Since I do not know, and will not know "when" the test will be actually given (surprise), what treatment can I use on a daily basis before going to work each day (or every couple of days) to increase my chances of passing?

Based on your history (or lack of) of smoking...you are probably good without doing anything.

Mac treatments alone would most certainly be an option for upping your confidence. Yes, this can be done daily if you're scalp can take it. Mine did to the tune of about a dozen times without significant irritation...but others have reported it to be painful for them.

Another easy consideration would be to add a daily shampoo with Propylene Glycol as an ingredient (like T-Gel).

If you want 100% over the top reassurance...order some Toxin Wash shampoo for a daily treatment and use that in combination with some Zydot for the day of the test.

Not really a whole lot you need to do here.

Thanks for your reply. Perhaps I'm just over-scared (paranoid ... wonder why.. lol). Sounds like it's mostly a mental thing and I need not worry, but I really want to ensure a positive. Thanks for your suggestions. I'm gonna get me some Propylene Glycol shamppo (with at least 2%) and the TW and do it daily, and perhaps do the Mac every several days.

I know for sure that freakin' test is coming soon. What an irony, we can get drunk, mess up our livers and crash our cars, but we can't freakin' smoke. S*cks doesn't it? Oh, and btw, that sh1t I had that weekend was "tip-top over the line" sh1t.
