Today, I found myself at the receiving end of a request for a hair test with 24 hours, and my lawyer says I should comply even if i test positive... he thinks it is a 'red herring' ... nonetheless, I'm a daily smoker, and having just found this out, am still in a little panic.

I found two PG shampoos... the first an Aloe Rid generic (that does have the PG compound in it), the second ION Swimmer's shampoo (I also have Paul Mitchel's tea tree oil shampoo, used twice, but stopped as I didn't want the 'oils' in that shampoo to interfere with the purification). I've washed 3x with each of the later two, and found this forum, been reading... did the MAC once ... and also bought two bleach & redye kits. I've done one bleach redye already... my scalp is now very tender. My hair is dark brown naturally.

I went to three head shops, and couldn't find any Zydot, the best I found was Clear Choice -- a PG based shampoo/purifier ...

I plan to take a few Ibuprofen and attempt a bleach again late tonight, and a redye in the morning, take a hour swim in the community pool (highly chlorinated), then do the Clear Choice, and head to the test...

Any final words of wisdom?
