hi all.. ive been reading for the last several hours pissing off my gf by staying up all night (but its worth it)
i have a 1" to 2" long hair (depending on position) and can get hair cut if need be.. im going to trim my body hair to be practically shaven
my hair is dark brown im 190 lbs (muscular build mostly)

USAGE: i used to smoke alot in the past but stopped because it was making me think about major problems more so instead of less so.
i smoked crappy stress on thanksgiving (barley any) of 07, i lost ,my brother to suicide nov 28 and ended up smoking a bit around christmas time for about a week - 10 days LIGHT (like a few hits through the whole day) smoking each day while at my sisters, (chronic) to try and cope, and it didn't really help.. and then the last time i smoked was new years eve took about 1 hit of some chronic. and i haven't smoked since that night on new years.. i got a job
offer in IT department for something that will change my life and im going to school full time, gym several days a week, and take vitamins everyday.

so im 99% sure its going to be a hair test, and im PRETTY sure its going to be in a couple days (on monday) and if not it will be tuesday or wednesday for sure.

ive researched and it looks like the macujo method is what i will be doing this weekend along with T-gel along with blow drying. will also ask sally beauty today what they may recommend, and i may do at home perm if i get the time.. (im really short on time this weekend) and also looking into MAYBE getting zydot if i can get it by sunday night (prob wont happen)

so considering what you have read here what do you recommend?
DO i NEEED zydot? is a big question, should i CUT my hair at all? is a big question and i really dont want to bleach and redye.. i dont have time as well.. so if i can pass without this method i would prefer it. any info would be very much appreciated and i will post my results as well. THANKS

Well, they will probably take the hair from the back, upper portion of the head (the part that touches the floor when lying on the floor) as that is the preferred location. If that is the part that is 2", you might want to cut your hair to no shorter than 1-1/2 inches. That way, the collector can't say you don't have enough, but you will have only a little more than two or two and a half months growth. That puts it right about the last time you smoked. Do what treatments you can. You do have a good chance of passing.

ok i just got back from the store..
bought
tide, vinegar, clean and clear cream

also got some shampoos: T-gel (2x strength stuff), herbal essences dangerously straight shampoo (has some ammoniums as well as propylene glycol) got suave mens deep cleaning shampoo (has some similar stuff to the herbal essences) got olive oil brand creamy ALOE shampoo (also says it removes calcium buildup restores moisture and cleans and neutralizes and has propylene glycol among other things) and also citre shine shampoo (has propylene glycol)

ON TOP of that stuff i bought a super strength hair relaxer (one of the creams in the box has propylene glycol as the MAIN and first ingrediant)

and also 100% pure tea tree oil (strong stuff) and 91% isopropyl rubbing alcohol

so with that list maybe you guys could recommend the best regimen to follow as far as shampooing/ mac system/ and if i should use the hair relaxer and if i should implement the tea tree oil (maybe into my shampooing) and if i should even use / implement the strong rubbing alcohol

i have the rest of today (saturday) (sunday will be driving back to so. cal 7 hour drive so time will be limited to befor trip and when i get home.. then i have till 2 pm on monday to go in and sign papers and i assume after that will be the test and if not it would be on tues or wed i believe)

this testing is also being done for an indian casino and the indian gaming commission does the testing so i dont want to show any suspicions (they may actually work directly with the casino i believe)

this job means everything i went through 1 month interview/testing process
and was the only one selected
any help would be MUUUUCH appreciated thank you in advance

i bought something called Dark and Lovely by SoftSheen-Carson Super strength.. its a purpleish box.. i bought it from target.. most / all of the relaxers i seen there are meant for african american people (women to have straight relaxed hair or somethin) there is a pic of a african american woman on the box and the box is purple in color.. there are 4 different cream pouches inside to complete all the steps.. but i might just use the Relaxer cream and then the Activator cream (which is primarily propylene glycol) i dont think i will use the conditioner cream for example because i dont want to heal the hair or seal it. but im still waiting for advice on weather to even use the stuff or not.

I am interested in knowing how things turn out for you and what you end up using. I am in the same situation, but I have 2 weeks to "clean" my hair.
I have smoked maybe 4 times in the past 3 months. I'm hoping with that minimal amount, I will be ok.
I bought Just for Me kids relaxer. Propylene glycol was the 2nd ingredient on the list. I also have been using Nexxus Aloe Rid for the past couple of days.
I have pretty long hair, and do not want to cut it short. I am going to get a trim and possibly a perm in the next couple weeks. I am not willing to bleach and redye. My hair is very fine and fragile the way it is!
I also got T-Sal with 3% Salycic (?) acid.
Ugghhhh!! What a bunch of hooey, hey?!

i almost bought the t-sal but then i realized that it was just with sylicidic acid (however u spell it) and that the clean and clear has 2 % sylicidic acid in it .. so i dont know. need some people with some advice now dangit! lol
