Alright guys, i've read a ton of information in the past few hours and yes I know that every person is going to be different. Just want to get an idea of what others think about my chances of passing my hair follicle test.

Here's the story:

I started looking a new job in October and at that point stopped smoking. I live with a roomate who smoks daily, typically only one or two bowls per day. Our living room is pretty open, not like a phone booth or anything. On several occassions him and his friend will have a smoke session where there will be a few bowls smoked. I don't think that I have ever gotten a contact high but have been in close proximity to them smoking.

I never thought that just by being in the room I would fail a drug test until I started thinking about me smelling the smoke and then getting into my lungs and then into the blood stream and then into the hair follicles. I have researched this topic for the past couple of days and have found both good and bad things.

What is everyone's opinion about my results of the hair follicle test that I took on Monday? BTW, they smoked about 3 bowls on Sunday night right before I went in for the drug test.

You can't fail a test due to second-hand smoke. The concentrations simply aren't high enough to register.

Is it even possible to catch a contact high from second hand smoke?

Your chances of testing positive to a hair test are virtually zero. Hair is washed carefully, then prepared chemically before testing.

Just to let people know who read this thread and have the same worries as me, I completely passed my Drug Test. Got the new job and am happier than ever. I was extremely worried becuase of the chance of second hand smoke, but there was nothing to worry about.
