ok first, i have about 3 weeks left and have bleached and redyed once so far using beyond the zone on/off scalp radical bleach kit (didnt see anything about 40 peroxide), plan on doing 2 more (you said 3x is better than 2, right?), but i left it in for the weekend and redyed sunday night, do i need to be redyeing the same day? also i have seen on the results thread that your hair must be 1.5'' and also just 1''. do you know which is correct? my hair isnt quite an inch but if i can trim it to a minimum length later i will. i have also seen the vinegar aspect of the maccujo method abandoned for baking soda paste, is that your reccomendation? im also seeing a lot of people saying dont wear any hats, use pillow cases, etc that could be contaminated w/ thc, even driving in a car that you "hot box". sounds like a myth, but im paranoid too. any truth to it? anyways, thanks in advance for your help, the results thread was very helpful and i'll post mine too, and i will find out about the bleach i used, here is the link for other users, this stuff will bleach the hell out of your hair: Beyond the Zone - Beyond The Zone On/Off Scalp Radical Bleach Kit

Just from reading these forums, I think 1" should be fine. They will probably ask to take it elsewhere, so you'll need to convince them otherwise or be prepared. I read a post by someone who had 1/2" hair, and they still tested, they just needed to take it from more spots.

Concerning external contamination, I believe it's a myth. It's even in the Toxin Wash directions to avoid towels and hats, etc. I can maybe understand the used towel, especially after certain treatments that leave the cuticle exposed, but just think about it. THC metabolites are deposited by blood into the cortex, and it takes significant effort to get them out. I don't believe it's that easy for those metabolites to get back into "clean" hair, especially in detectable amounts, by simply brushing against a head rest or putting on an old t-shirt.

Be careful, but use common sense. Then again, I didn't even know what a hair test was 2 weeks ago, so who am I to talk?
