Why did I have to be the first to go thru this, Someone could have warned me , I never read it on anyones post.

So Yesterday, I went to my local Sally's to get my bleach ,dye, and relaxer. I asked for the strongest relaxer they had with sodium hydroxide, its called Motions Oil Moisterizer Hair Relaxer. I told him that I wanted to damage my hair without loosing it and that I was doing it for research. He told me not to use the bleach and relaxer , the combination will make my hair fall out. ( I guess I was warned .) So I only got the relaxer , neutralizer, and dye . The relaxer and dye would do the damage we need .

I left the store and forgot to mention to him that I had bleached and dyed 5 days before. I said screw it , I'll test the lower back of my hair , if something goes wrong I'll fade it with clippers. The test went well, so I went for it. In the spots that got irritated by the relaxer ; Yup it started to fall out. Two spots, above each sideburn and one spot at the lower part of my neck.

Since I have thin and short hair already, I was freaking out !!! As I pinch the rest my hair and pull alittle, it breaks off, it's very fragile in some spots.
Man , I couldn't even sleep. I thought when I wake up , all of my hair would be on my pillow. I did pray alittle (alot)!!!!

But I'm okay , atleast for now ! It doesn't look as bad as it sounds . I wear glasses and always wear a cap , so that covers my sideburns up . The back just looks like I slipped alittle with the clippers. I figured that if anyone notices , I'll just fade it . FYI :cThe relaxer did romeve some of my first dye .

But hey my hair is DAMAGED, mission accomplished . Me and my hair are gonna take a break now . Atleast a day.The good thing is I don't have a date yet .

Does anyone have suggestios for brittle hair ??

I hope this keeps you from making the same mistake, I made. I guess you have to choose between Bleach & dye or Relaxing , .BUT NOT BOTH !
