K I have to take a hair test within the next couple of days if I get an offer after this 2nd interview. I think I will. I haven't smoked for ages, but I have done an off topic raver drug that comes in pill form 3 times in the last 3 months, 2 pills each time. Prior to that I hadn't done it for probably a year or longer. Unfortunately, I did it about 9 days ago. I didn't think any companies in my career field would do hair testing due to the cost. So now apparently I have to worry about them detecting amphetamines. Unfortunately, the test is through psychemedics. And apparently since 2005 Psychemedics now has a special test specifically for this type of drug. The New York Times published an article saying that they now detect for several additional types of amphetamines because of the widespread popularity of this drug. Needless to say I'm worried.

Well anyway, I do have couple of questions. I'm trying to take as many steps as possible. So far, I have done the macCuj0 method about 4 times. I'm going to do it a couple more and sub in the baking soda paste for the vinegar a couple times. I figure one's an acid and one's a base, so I'll try both. I also bought a pretty strong cleansing shampoo, in addition to a propylene glycol shampoo. I got T/Gel from Neutrogena because it has Tatrasodium EDTA in it.

So here's what I want to know. Should I do the bleach and redye method also? It seems most people reccomend doing one or the other. If so, can I just ask, what in the hell is redye??? Is it a brand? A product? Or just a way of saying re-dye your hair back to it's normal color after the bleaching. Also, what is a relaxer? Is this to be used in conjunction with the bleach and redye? Some people seem to being using it in conjunction, some not.

I also wanted to say thanks to everyone for posting here. When I first found out this company does hair testing, I was ready to just give up and tell them I got another offer as opposed to failing a drug test and burning a bridge. However, after doing a bunch of research and finding this site, I am quite hopeful. Also, I keep my hair very short. Approx 3/4 inch to 1 inch and I just got a hair cut a week ago. My hair is light brown and very thin and fine. Prior to 9 days ago, the last time I took this drug was about 60 days ago. Considering I keep my hair so short, I think my only worry is this most recent time.

"Redye" refers to dying your hair back to its original color after bleaching it. The product used is a standard permanent hair dye.

It seems that most use the bleach/redye OR a relaxer. Combining the two might lead to undesired hair loss.
