Is it just because I'm reading text and not hearing your tone, or have you been responding very rudely? All these questions have been for the OP.

No there's no problem, I thought I was annoying you with my questions or something. But I do have a question for you, I think I understand that your bleach/redye method is trying to damage the hair and crack it so that its easier to get the THC out of it. I went to this page: What Causes Damaged Hair and saw a bunch of ways to damage your hair, including bleaching and dying. I'm wondering if we can take advantage of more of these sources of hair damage. Like heat? Sunlight, curling irons, hair dryers are all supposedly bad for your hair, would using those things help you too? My girlfriend has a crazy amount of hair knowledge, and that page is basically a list of things she avoids, and now all that useless information may be able to help me if I actually DO those things instead of avoid them. Also, is the goal to just damage the hair? Or do you want to crack them and then do things like use swimmers shampoos to wash out the opened up hairs? Or would the heat itself be getting rid of THC in your hair? Thanks in advance for your help.

It's all theory, the chemicals listed have all helped people here pass. I don't know about the other stuff, but I doubt they would hurt your chances.

i have seen that guy's post on some other site for months. people seemed to call his method into question a lot at first, and after over a year, there are maybe 8-9 pgs of posts w/ not that many conclusive "yes" votes. i'm not saying it may not work, but his faith in conditioner, when it has been clearly proven that they wash away all external contaminants, is not valid.

FAILED TEST. This VO5, clorox bleach and peroxide method did NOT work for me. If you read my earlier posts you'll see that I used 3 times the amount of the solution than the OP stated to use, on a small portion of my hair (the portion the sample was taken from.) My hair was saturated with the solution, (the clorox I'm sure) burned my scalp and fried my hair (although some serious deep conditioning afterwards saved it.) I then used the detoxifying shampoos. I included a conditioner afterwards even though I know that portion won't make a difference as others have stated because they do prewash the hair samples so you can't claim external contamination was the cause of your positive test (probably other reasons too.) Bottom line, I didn't have time to bleach & redye so I tried this other method - it did NOT work for me, my test was POSITIVE. That being said, perhaps it worked to some extent - perhaps my levels would have been higher if I hadn't done this but no way to know that now since I didn't do an at-home pretest prior to taking the lab test. Lab was OMEGA. If I have to do another and have concerns about the results, I will do the bleach and redye - matter of fact as I'm typing this I've decided I'm going to order an at-home test and do the bleach/redye just to know ahead of time if it will work for me. GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE ELSE.
