So, I found some hair products that have 50% P.G. in them. I know that P.G.is good for detox but why? What is the uses of P.G. and Salicylic acid during detox? How should one utilize them best? I would like to experiment with them. Thanks...

What products have 50% propylene glycol? This is the active ingredient in Zydot's Purifier and in the much sought after but discontinued Aloe Rid Treatment. PG is proven to reduce thc metabolites in the hair.

Salicylic Acid is the active ingredient in Clean and Clear, part of the Mac Method.

Saw it in a cheap version of Rogain. It was 50% v/v of PG. Thought it would be useful to mix with shampoo and wash with. The directions said apply two or three drops per day for hair growth effects (if that works!!!). Be warned, only the kind for Men has the PG in it. From the sounds of it a mixing would be great! What you think? It was like 20 bucks as compared to rogain at 54. I saw it at target.

Indications

• It takes time to regrow hair. With Minoxidil Topical Solution 5%, results may occur at 2 months with twice daily usage. For some men, it may take at least 4 months for results to be seen.
• The amount of hair regrowth is different for each person. Minoxidil Topical Solution 5% will not work for all men.
• Clinical research in mostly white men aged 18-49 years with moderate degrees of hair loss showed that Minoxidil Topical Solution 5% For Men provides more hair regrowth than Minoxidil Topical Solution 2% For Men.
• If your amount of hair loss is more than that shown on the side of this carton, or your hair loss is on the front of the scalp, Minoxidil Topical Solution 5% For Men may not work.
• Continued use is necessary or hair loss will begin again. If you do not see hair regrowth in 4 months, stop use. In studies with Minoxidil Topical Solution 5% For Men, hair regrowth has not been shown to last longer than 48 weeks of continuous treatment in large clinical trials.

Directions
For External Use Only. For use by men only.
Apply 1 mL with dropper 2 times a day directly onto the scalp in the hair loss area. Using more, or using more often, will not improve results.
Continued use is necessary or hairloss will begin again.

Store at controlled room temperature 20° to 25° C (68° to 77° F). Keep tightly closed.

When using this product

• do not apply on other parts of the body.
• avoid contact with the eyes. In case of accidental contact, rinse eyes with large amounts of cool tap water.
• some people have experienced changes in hair color and/or texture.
