I had my hair tested on friday the 18th, the lab overnighted it to Psychemedics. Does anyone know how long results take? Also will the MRO call you first if the test comes back as positive, or does he notify the hiring manager first?

At the time of my test I was approximately 60 days clean, before that I had smoke maybe 7-8 times, by my estimate it was once a week since mind January. So in all I smoked 7-8 times during the 90 days.

At the time I found out about the test I had a week and a half to prepare, so for about five days in a row I did the maccujo method once a night, the next couple of days i would do a maccujo in the morning followed by a baking powder paste washed out with a high PG shampoo at night. Four days before the test I used a straightener with ammonium thioglycolate and PG, and washed the straightener out with a deep clarifying shampoo. Over next three days did baking soda pastes with the swimmer's shampoo. The day of the test I did a maccujo, waited 30 minutes then did a baking soda paste followed immediately by Zydot. What do you think of my chances?

My sample was taken on Wednesday and I heard the results the following Tuesday....Passed. I would say less than a week.-

Does it matter what we think the chances are? I know you are looking for comfort, but the fact is, the sample is off, and its too late. According to my observations, it seems like this method works for 8 or so out of 10 people who reply, and thats about as good as you can hope for. I think if a person really wants to pass they should do both methods, and espcially the bleach, as it is mentioned on at least one of the testing company's websites.

About the MRO...its really depending on what you have in your system...if you have prescription medication that shows up in the test then it will be sent to the MRO for review to make sure you are prescribed what is showing up...unless you are prescribed medical marijuana and nothing else shows up then the MRO wouldn't even need to look at it...unless it is just sent to the MRO to find out if you have a valid presciption for THC...correct me if im wrong but i worked at a collection place for awhile and im pretty sure this is true , unless the procedure has changed in the past few years....

dirt devil, that makes sense, and you're right that I was just looking for comfort. I agree that some people need both methods to pass, but after doing a ton of research here and looking through all the results for the past three years, I concluded I wasn't one of them. I had made another post with my full preparation plan in it (that got no responses), so I was just looking for a little feedback to make sure I hadn't overlooked, or misinterpreted something. Although, you're right at this point it wouldn't have made a difference.

now that it's been over a week, I'm pretty sure that I passed, I called HR yesterday and they unofficially said that I passed, I'll make a post in the results forum about my whole routine.
