I believe Hair Confirm is only a mediary between employers and private individuals and Psychemedics laboratory. I think they probably use Psychemedics for their hair tests.

Can't guarantee it, but if memory serves me well, i think this is correct.

I'm a heavy cigarette smoker, well a pack a day, and the quote from the Hair Confirm site states tobacco may cause a negative. It says "mixed" with. I'm wondering if smoking em outright has any effect.


PLEASE NOTE: In some cases, when the donor has used marijuana, a hair drug test, including HairConfirm, may be unable to detect the THC metabolite due to the fact that the metabolite was unable to bind with the hair shaft. This can be caused by the type/quality of the marijuana smoked/ingested, or by what it has been mixed with, e.g. tobacco. As a result, the result for marijuana may be negative.

Well I passed Hairconfirm with the following results:

Amphetamines: Amphetamine, Methamphetamine and Ecstasy
Cocaine: Cocaine/Cocaine Metabolite (Benzoylecgonine, Norcocaine, Cocaethylene)
Opiates: Codeine, Morphine, Heroin Metabolite
Phencyclidine: PCP
THC Metabolite: Marijuana

Drugs Tested For Result Screening:

Amphetamines Confirmation Negative Cut Off Level 500 pg/mg
Cocaine/Metabolites Confirmation Negative Cut Off Level 500 pg/mg
Opiates Confirmation Negative Cut Off Level 300 pg/mg
Phencyclidine Confirmation Negative Cut Off Level 300 pg/mg
THC Metabolite Confirmation Negative Cut Off Level 1.00 pg/mg

On to the real test. I'm pretty sure it will be the same results.

I was wondering if someone could help with the waiting pain.

As stated above I passed the hairconfirm home test.

I took the real test 12 days later (June 16th) doing 2 more macs and using zydot the day of. (60 days clean)

Do you think since I passed the home test I will definitely pass the real "psycho-metrics"?

Any insight good or bad is appreciated.

I can hardly breathe waiting for the call.
