Hey guys this is great to see everyone getting involved and giving there results i have been taking saliva tests now for about 2 months and have passed all of them though i have had about 4 to 5 days no smoking before and just flossing peroxide lister mouth wash brushing every inch of my mouth. also using a lister hand held spray before i go in to the test.

i have read just about everything on the internet about saliva testing and i have a suggestion sense the parent drug thc is all they can test for and no amount of thc matebolite is produced in the saliva i came up with the idea of smoking a bong through my nose i know many of you will laugh about this and maybe think im stupid but from the research i have done the thc is absorbed into the mouth tissue and deposited in the cavities in your mouth this according to the (journal of toxicology) .
so i figured if no smoke touches my mouth but only the back of my throat and nose it would greatly reduce the time for it to be eliminated from the mouth.

Hey guys!! I took a saliva test on friday for a job. i am really nervouse because i need this job badly!! i didnt find out until the day before or i would have stopped smoking a few days before. i stopped smokin the day before and the day of the test, i took water pills and gargled before hand. Do you think i should be okay?

The use of oral fluid (saliva) as a biological specimen for the detection of drugs of abuse is growing in popularity within the workplace. The increased popularity of oral fluid drug testing is due to inherent advantages over the standard urine drug test. Oral fluid specimen collection using Intercept is simple and non-invasive. Collection can occur at any time or location without embarrassment to the donor.
The specimen can be collected from the donor under direct observation, thus minimizing the potential for specimen tampering and/or adulteration. Oral fluid drug concentrations can be related to plasma free-drug concentrations and the pharmacological effects of drugs. As a result, oral fluid drug concentrations can provide information similar to that provided by plasma or blood drug concentrations.
Consideration should be given to the effect that some drugs or medical conditions have on the donor's ability to secrete oral fluid. As a result, oral fluid may not be available from all individuals at all times.2

Brushed teeth, gums, cheeks, tongue two times before bed, and twice before test approx. 2 hours before test.

The test was a blue looking flat toothbrush shape. When I inserted into my mouth I tried to keep saliva away but was unsuccessful. Employer stated "Well you got that part of the test passed. You got enough spit on it."
It has been approx. 10 hours since test was taken.
Results unknown as of now.

Thoughts:
Research all avenues well before testing date. Know all aspects of the testing procedure, results, preperation, and probagation.
Do not expect testing to be the same evertime with no new ways of testing. Humans love to better everthing including things that need not fixing, so in the future expect more accurate tests, easier tests, and harder to fool tests. Always research with PLENTY OF TIME!
Act normal when testing. Relax and act as if this job is yours already.
Try and tell yourself that if you fail there must be that job still out there for you and that this one was just another stone to move out of the way.
Pray.Think positive, and mabye the test won't be!!!
