I must say, to my memory I would say the Lord of the Ring's trilogy, in one big ass hardback. I appreciate it as a brilliant piece of imagination but it bored the Hell out of me. I was probably too young to appreciate it.

Tower Of Evil by James Kisner. A freshly dismembered cleaning lady has sex with a zombie hobo until semen spurts from every orifice.

Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeah. 'Nuff said.

(By the way, I do not make a habit out of reading shit like that. It was supposed to be a horror novel. Er something..)

Three Hands For Scorpio
Fantasy
Andre Norton

It had the most drawn out story line ever, and it was a pretty short book, so the story was vague and hard to follow. The story itself could have been really good, if th e author didn't suck at conveying her thoughts into a readable form.

The Great Gatsby, The Scarlet Letter, The Crucible, and any Shakespeare. I did hate the teacher who made me read these books with a fiery passion reserved for no one else. Im not sure i could hate another human being as much as i hated him.

According to my bookmark I made it about 2/3 of the way through, although I don't remember much of it since it was my "get stoned and read it" book from several months back. So I've started reading it again. I kind of want to really appreciate it this time, but I guess only finishing it will tell...

I have to agree here. The Scarlet Letter was one of the first books I read that wasn't a kids book. I was very young, and my great grandmother had to explain the differences between Hawthorn's English and modern English. It's one of my favorite memories. Glad to know I'm not the only one whose heard of (let alone read) it.
