I am 16 years old and I see a lot of this. Say your on myspace just looking through your friends interests and what not. SO MANY kids have listed under the books section; BOOKS ARE GAY!!! WHO THE FUCK READS! READING IS FOR FAGS! I don't understand why reading is so unappealing and uncool to kids these days. Is it really uncool to expand your mind a little bit instead of watching some trash on television. There are so many dim-witted kids these days it blows me away. I am not a bookworm nor do I particularly enjoy school but I enjoy reading a good book. I have had kids my own age become frusturated with me for using words like "enthusiastic" or "gradually" and so on. They say im trying to "act" smart and make them look bad but im really just conversing with them... But I guess maybe having a more complex vocabulary makes me gay right! Is it really that bad to be maybe a little smart every now and again. It shows too. kids in my school can't spell for shit and they sound pretty dumb just talking sometimes. ( Not trying to be racist ) Black culture is so influential in my school it is ridiculous. The bad part is 700 kids go to my school and only 60 of them actually are black. These are upscale richie rich white kids I deal with all day and i just hear "yo dawg" "ayo waz gud" nigga this nigga that. I don't why this is so acceptated among teens today. They sound like morons. Anyone agree with me?
