Thumbs up

The best book I've ever read on MJ is:

The Benefits of Marijuana : Physical, Psychological & Spiritual by Joan Bello.

It is a very straight forward and factual book about marijuana. I learned more about marijuana from reading this book than I have from any other. I'm not very good at reviews so here is a link where a couple can be found...

Peace.

Default Great book!!!

Entitled, "Intoxication"

A pretty comprehensive volume on psychoactives. One of the first chapters is on Hash and Marijuana. That chapter is called The Jade Laughter.

Cannabis in Medical Practice : A Legal, Historical and Pharmacological Overview of the Therapeutic Use of Marijuana
by Mary Lynn Mathre

This book holds true and accurate information concerning medical marijuana. I think it should be required reading for med. students.

It amazes me how we have a plethora of literature on the subject of marijuana, most of it completely truthful, yet the general public is totally unaware. Kind of makes me worry that much of the human population are really, in a sense, just acting as droids; going along with what they are told rather than putting forth the effort to delve deeper into reality and better arm themselves with all of the information available to us.

Maybe I am just a pessimist..oh no...a realist, that's it!

peace

Arrow Steff

I make it a point to read as many free-thought encouraging and 'dissonant' texts as I can.

The only reason I read 'catcher in the rye' was because every famous serial killer or assasin, since it was published, has had one copy in a sacred place of theirs or several randomly scattered... and most of them had never read it!

If you liked brave new world, check out all the books by chuck pahlaniuk. He's only got three published, but they are all excellent, cerebral, rather zen and cult classics.

Default best way to kill a day

I was forced to wait for a ride all day recently and ended up in a Barnes and Knoble bookstore. They have got some killer grow information in there, as well as general gardening books with fantastic pictures of diseases and pests. I ended up with a stack of growguides on my little table, mostly opened to bud shots. Got to meet three stoners who happend by and saw the pics. Bonus!
Anyway, I ended up buying Jorge Cervantes "Indoor Marijuana Horticulture". Hes the High Times cultivation dude (that mag was in a plastic cover, the phucks). Great grow guide, I was attracted to his consise(?) few words as possible style. Pictures suck, though, no color. Who needs color pics when I got the real thing? Leaves more room for the good grow info....

Indoor Marijuana Horticulture...highly recommended

Cool

OK, well a lot of people here have probably read it already, but if you haven't, well...

As your lawyer, I recommend you to read "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas" by Hunter S. Thompson. Of course it's not just about MJ, but it's about drugs and counter-culture in general, the death of the Flower Power era, the rise of the forces of "Old and Evil", and of course 300lb Samoans...

Apart from which it's also one of the funniest and best-written examples of modern journalism that you're likely to find.

Sorry for being a Thompson-bigot, but someone's gotta do it
