|  I have read all of the Dune chronicles (Dune,Dune Messiah,Children of Dune,God Emperor of Dune,Heretics of Dune and Chapterhouse  une) Iam just wondering if the Dune prequels are worth getting,do they explain alot of what happened in the overall Dune universe that lead to the war between the Atreides and Harkonnen on Arrakis and beyond?The Stoned Philosopher  |

| No,its about a guy named Alex who bascilly is drugged up so that when he encounters things that are pleasurable to him(sex,ultraviolence,and good ol ludwig van)he begins to get sick and the drugs the goverment forced onto him turns him into a defenssless zombie,its a good book if you can read through the wierd dialect.
