Heinlein's a master, I still get aggravated when I think what Paul Verhoeven did to Starship Troopers.

Unfortunately, I haven't, I'm not even sure exactly what SIASL means, lol. Heilein found his way into the tail end of my science fiction kick, which sort of somehow led into my hippie kick, which I'm hoping isn't gonna end anytime soon. One of these days I'll get off my lazy rear and start reading all those books I've been too busy listening to dead shows to read.

I assume you mean 1984 and I agree that is a great book.
If you liked reading Animal Farm you have to the store and buy Animals by PinkFloyd, spark a jay, and then just kick back and feel waves as Roger Waters, Dave Gilmour, Richard Wright, and Nick Mason help you truly expirience the book with their wonderfull siren's songs.

Whoever said tolkien and Vonnegut were good wasn't kidding. The Rings trilogy & the Hobbit rule and so does SlaughterHouse V.

Dune is another good book, I think its by Frank Herbert.

If you liked Tolkien's books, and enjoyed watching him as he created entire worlds. And if you want to get into another great series I highly recomend The Wheel of Time series by Robert Jordan. The way he constructs a world and creates different cultures and countries is just incredible. So far it is a 9 book series with each book averaging around 800 pages. A WORD OF WARNING: if you finish the first book, The Eye of the World, you will have to finish the other 8 books and may end up reading all 9 books several more times while you wait for book 10 to come out!!!!It is more addictive than ciggerettes, I read the entire series in two weeks, and am currently rereading it for the second time as I wait for book 10.

Some other great books I recomend:
Eaters of the Dead and the rest of Micheal Crighton's novels
Drinking, Smoking, and Screwing: Great Authors on Good times
Any alternate history by Harry Turtledove
Tom Clancy's books
Dick Marcinko's books

Ya....and thats all I can think of right now. Seriously though, buy the album Animals by Pink Floyd and The Wheel of Time series by Robert Jordan.

I've been awake for the past 36 hours....studying...so it goes...I thinks its time I try to catch some Zs. Later.
