| It was about 4.00am a week or two ago and I found myself watching PBS. It was a show where a guy (something Moyers... Bill Moyers maybe) was interviewing Joseph Campbell. They were talking about myths, religion, finding your 'bliss', and other things like that. Anyways, it was so good I went out and got the book, which is basically a transcript. Everyone should run out and get it, that Campbell sounds is definetly on my list of 'Dead People I Wish I Could Have Talked To'. He tells some awesome stories, and basically the idea is that we should all find one thing in life that we love (our 'bliss' as he puts it) and that it isn't the end of the journey of life that matters, but the journey itself. I'm not really doing this book any justice, but I just gotta recommend you guys get it, makes you think a lot and is just a good read. |
