| I'm reading novels from a series called "The naval adventures of Alan Lewrie." Set in the late 18th century. Author is Dewey Lambdin. I picked this up by chance at the local library. Gave it a quick glance and my first reaction was: ugh, what crap. But by about the fifth sentence I was hooked. I'm on my third novel. French and America (and sometimes Spain) versus England in naval (and some land) warfare. Bastard-born Englishman pressed into the Navy matures over the course of the series. I never thought I'd ever want to read this kind of book: thought it would be bestsellerish. But no. History comes alive. Very interesting main character Lewrie is composed almost entirely of flaws that he sometimes transcends often to his own surprise and sometimes chagrin. And lots and lots of blood and gore action in warfare. Seems to have a few veiled references to pot (newly discovered as far as the brits are concerned) as a bonus. |

| I am reading a non-fic by the name of Behold A Pale Horse. It is by William Cooper. If you are an educated person and would like to learn a lot of important things about life here in the US with our government. I would suggest picking it up. It might broaden your horizons (as books tend to do.) |

| It seems like we have alot of Dan Brown fans here. I just finished reading Deception Point, and wow, Dan Brown is trully a master in the art of writing. He uses many metaphors, shaping and sculpting his work to make it it's own style and still make sense. I higjly recomend it for conspiricy lovers.
