If anyone has read Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, feel free to pick up F & L: Campaign Trail '72

It's a lot heavier...

but I'm looking for a book to read I'm gonna scan some of the mentions in this thread...maybe pick up Ron Paul's new book that's out.

Lately I have really been into coloring books. Sorry guys.

Or pop up books when I am really baked. It's exciting every time.

I just started reading Into the Wild by Jon Krakauer.

For anyone that doesnt know its a book about a college graduate who gives up everything he owns and starts traveling around the country.

So far its really good and I cant wait to read more of it!

Default top five favorite books...this is going to be a tough one

so here are my top five favorite books, in no particular order. it was hard enough to narrow it down to five, trying to rank them would have taken too much effort.

Catcher in the Rye-Salinger
Cat's Cradle-Vonnegut
Brave New World-Huxley
1984-Orwell
Breakfast of Champions-Vonnegut

All amazing.

I don't do drugs, just weed!

If you like pop up books, check out "The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon" by Stephen King in pop-up book form. It's really cool and I got it for around $3 at Borders.

I've been looking to get Kerouacs On the Road, but cheaped out so far..right now tho I'm reading The Electric Kool-Aid Acid Test by Tom Wolfe. Pretty Trippy..bout the Merry Pranksters and their acid experiences

From the back:
"I looked around and people's faces were distorted...lights were flashing everywhere...the screen at the end of the room had three or four different films on it at once, and the strobe light was flashin faster than it had been..the band was playing but I couldn't hear the music...people were dancing...someone came up to and I shut my eyes and with a machine he projected images on the back of my eyelids...I sought out a person I trusted and he laughed and told me that the Kool-aid had been spiked and that
i was just beginning my first LSD experience..."
