| Yup, indeed I recently read the entire series following Thanksgiving and my 16th birthday. They are some of my favorite books by Stephen King and some of my favorite books of any author. Anyways, they are are excellent series and I highly recommend them. - Marx, baked a cool crispy, light-brown |

| Somewhat off-topic but I'd like to point out that a movie based on "The Talisman" is in the works. Now I know that Stephen King book-to-movie interpretations are nigh on ATROCIOUS! However, Steven Spielberg is somehow involved with the project, so anything's possible, mayhap the first Stephen King movie to be nominated for an oscar, let alone to receive favorable reviews. |

| Must find copy of The Wolves of the Calla..... Ive read the first 4 and im totally amazed by the series. I got into it when i read Hearts in Atlantis and got hooked on the charachter Ted's crazy ramblings about the crimson king and low men in yellow coats. I am currently starting it all over again because the first book has a bunch of things to do with stuff that he talks about in the 4th that didnt make a lick of sense to me then but totally does now. Hmm what else can be said besides Cuthbert rules ![]() |

| Ah man, this series is great! My older brother has read them all and got me hooked. He has a 'pre-history' of Roland comic book I really want to read, but I am going to wait until I finish the series... I am currently on the third book, The Wastelands and enjoying every word. It really is King's best work, and that says alot. The characters, the story, the action and ugh, its just totally awesome!!! Not very many books make me really excited but this one certainly does, I hope there are more readers here to discuss it. Who else has read it? I've heard that they are making it into a movie too. I'm not sure how I feel about that. It seems like every good story needs to be (ruined) made into a movie nowadays.... I'm sure Stephen King would make sure his baby is done justice , but I hope people read the already awesome books to accompany, or before, the movie -- the way it should be ![]()
