Stoned Trunks

Has anyone else read it? Its a very good book, except for the pothead remarks. Before reading it I was totally against Bush but now I see hes not such a bad president. It made me think alot, even when I wasnt stoned. Check it out.

Wow, what a coincidence. In the past year, I have become a daily listener to Michael Savage's radio show. I totally disagree with him politically but he is interesting and very funny to listen to. You have to realize though, when you read his stuff, that he is a master at getting people to believe his opinion. When you actually sit down and examine what he's saying, it may not be as convincing as you originally thought. Savage is able to get inside the head of his listeners and readers. That's why he tells you about random personal stuff like his dog and first car, it's a tactic to get people to relate to him when he moves onto more serious material.

I also believe that this man is a pure fascist. He wants the government to declare a "war on liberalism" for Christ's sake! Basically, he wants a one party system, because he believes that he KNOWS what is right and wrong, and it doesn't matter what anyone else thinks. He even went so far as to criticize O'Reilly for defending Dan Rather, saying that O'Reilly was a needed soldier in the war against liberalism. If thats not fascism I dont know what is.

Savage is also extremely anti-marijuana. In fact, he attributes many of America's domestic problems to marijuana. He considers it to be a highly dangerous and addictive drug. Red diaper doper babies
But he is the most entertaining radio talk show host, even if he is often a jerk to his liberal listeners.

Oh, and I thank him for adding to my vocabulary terms like "Islamo-fascism" and "Michael Moore-on." He is a bigot, a fascist, and a racist though.
