|  White Oleander WHite Oleander by Janet Fitch Her first & best novel, I haven't read it lately it was a couple months ago but it is my favourite book by far. a good book with meaning, I really felt it if I read a sad part I would go to bed feeling sad, it's about a girl named astrid & it follows her through a series of foster homes from when she is 12 till she is 18 after her mother kills her boyfriend & is convicted of murder. A nice collection of poems, good for anyone interested in art.(her & her mother are artists) mild drug use & drinking after the begining. sexual explicitness about a 6 on 1-10 (only some parts) |
