| Brian is a British horror author, most noted for his "Necroscope" series of novels. The series are some of the best horror novels I have ever read. His vampires aren't the romantic Ann Rice type vampires. They are humans mutated by a "leech" that can be as tall as 9 feet. They don't romance their food, they are more likely to tear off your hear and suck the blood from the stump! I won't ruin any more of the plot, buy the books. There's a lot more than vampires to entertain. The protagonist (Harry Keogh) talks to the dead. There are way too many plot lines to describe here, but Brian is an excelent writer and his books keep you reading to the last page. One warning though. The series is LONG! 13 books to be exact and number 14 is due out next summer. If anyone has read these, tell me what you thought. |

| Read about 3 of the Necroscope series several years ago. I agree with you. They were better than the average vampire novel. I had no idea the series extended to 13 and now a 14th. I will be heading to a library or book store and catch up. Thanks for the info |
