Default read anymore good books lately

the "read any good books lately" list is getting a little big so I thought there should be a new one.
My favorite books
The Alchemist by Paulo Coehlo
The Rule Of The Bone by Russel Banks
A Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy by hmmm (too stoned to remember authors name right now)
On the road by jack Kerouak
Slaughterhouse Five by Kurt Vonnegut
The Secret Life of Salvador Dali by Salvador Dali
A moveable Feast By Hemmingway
Candide by Voltaire (suprisingly a very easy and fun read)
Stonehendge by bernard cornwell
Anything from DR. SEUSS

My favorite Series
Tolkiens Hobbit, LOTR, Silmarillion
Harry potter
Bernard cornwell's grail quest series, sharpes rifles series, and Nathaniel Starbuck series
Patrick O'brian's Jack Aubrey and Stephen Maturin series (Master and Commander)

So,
There are the ones I can think of

And just who do you think you are going and starting another list.....

Seriously though I believe the reason they put a sticky on that thread was so stoners could post on what they've been reading 'lately'. Lenght of the thread is kind of inmaterial.

I love that series! I recently finished book 12 (The Letter of Marque) and am taking a small break before pushing on. A friend of mine is thinking about hosting a dinner based on the gunroom dinners, and will be using recipes from the series.
(But probably no soused hogs face).

I also like the Wheel of Time series (hence my netname).

I'm currently reading a pretty good biography of Lincoln called Team of Rivals, which focuses on his leadership skills with his cabinet.
